RCM, Stylist: Uma semana de "Perdição" #5

Passado o meio da semana começamos a ver a luz ao fundo do túnel, que é como quem diz, o fim-de-semana. Verdade? Sentimo-nos revigorados pelo simples facto de sabermos que amanhã é o último dia útil desta semana de correria mas também começamos a acusar o stress acumulado pelas horas atrás do volante, ao computador, em reuniões exaustivas ou submersos em papelada sem fim. Precisamos de paz! A roupa, muito mais do que lhe damos crédito, pode ajudar-nos a alcançar o estado de espirito em que gostaríamos de estar. Assim, para hoje, escolhi tons pastel para complementar este vestido Sahoco. A cintura ajustada e linha evasé do vestido, fazem com que seja favorecedor a quase todas as silhuetas. No entanto, dadas as zonas de transparência, é importante atentarem ao vosso ramo de actividade antes de o usarem para o trabalho. Profissões mais criativas não deverão ter qualquer problema, ao passo que em ambientes mais corporativos ou com dress code mais restrito, devem ser evitados. Nestes casos, sugiro que usem um blazer ou cardigan por cima, afim de minimizar o impacto das transparências. Com um vestido que brilha por si só, é importante conter-mo-nos nos acessórios. Porque gosto sempre de acentuar a cintura, optei por um cinto cor de pele que quase se funde com as linhas de transparência, conseguindo assim o efeito pretendido sem chamar demasiada atenção.

We're past the middle of the week and we start seeing the weekend from a distance. Right? That certainly keeps us fired up but also, we start showing signs of that built up stress of hours in traffic, behind your computer or in exhaustive meetings and loads of paperwork. We need peace! And clothing can, more than we give it credit for, put us in the mood that we wish to be. That being said, for today, I chose pastel tones to complement this Sahoco dress (and yes, I am breaking all the rules and wearing white after labor day. Why not!?). The dress waist line and flair make's it suitable for most body types. However, given that it has some transparent areas, you should keep in mind your line of work before you decide to put it on. If you have a more creative career you should be fine but, if you work in a corporate environment or you have a very strict corporate dress code, you should probably save it for the weekend or a night out. If you're in between, just trough a blazer or a cardigan over it, to tone down the transparency effect, and you should be fine. With a dress such as this, that shines on it's own, it's also important to hold back on the accessories. I always like to accentuate the waist line, so I went for a skin-toned belt, that almost blends with the transparencies of the dress, thereby achieving the intended effect without being overpowering.
